My Push 2 made it to Ventura, CA this morning.
Next step - "Out for delivery"...
Update: "On FedEx vehicle out for delivery"
("I'm going to live forever; so far, so good.")
Push 2 arrived. Push 2 is gorgeous. I'll be gone for awhile...

If there's a tie on the door knob I'll make sure not to disturb.

Wife saw me leave for the office with Push in hand ("got a school project I need to finish.") I returned from office with Push 2 in hand. So far, so good...until my son notices and totally destroys my life.

well played, too bad about that last bit.
keep it covered up. then, unveil it for your son when your wife isn't around. this gives you a chance to address his curiosity without his mother addressing your ass.

I emailed support on Wednesday night and got this email in response:
Thanks for contacting us regarding your Ableton order, and we're sorry to hear you've not yet received your shipping notification yet.
Our fulfillment partners (Rhiem/Whitley) are a bit behind due to the high volume of orders at the beginning of the week, but they're doing their utmost to get your order out by the weekend.
They are working late today, tomorrow and will also be working on Saturday to fulfill these orders and get your units on their way to you as soon as possible.
But it seems like people who ordered after me (still in Europe) were getting their units shipped just fine - so I don't buy just "high volume" as an excuse - I suspect some kind of SNAFU. It's disappointing that Ableton weren't a bit more proactive in contacting people to advise of delays, if they knew they were and are happening.
this could be a distribution center issue. some people are probably not getting theirs from the same warehouse you're getting yours from.

Hey guys, 1 question on the muting/soling on push 2:
is there any mode where I can have all the lower display buttons to be track mutes w/o holing the mute button on the left? this is the behavior from push 1 back in the days. push 2 seems to have instant muting the current track by pressing mute or multiple mutes by holding mute, but none w/o holding it.

Just got mine today too. The pads aren't even full size mpc pads but they are much more fun to play especially for extended periods. The display is nice and it isn't too overbearing. Overall I am spending more time playing instead of posting. Great jobs Ableton!

Great job indeed! The pads are wonderful! All I want for Push 3 is MPE implementation. Maybe Roger Linn will help.

Agreed with everyone about the pads - after initially being disappointed, I tried Tarekith's cleaning pad deal...and now they work great.
So much nicer to play on that the old Push pads. A lot more natural feeling.

Received Push 2 last night.
Pads are much better and the overall layout is really intuitive.
Never been into sampling but simpler with push is fun!
I am happy so far.

May I ask you what this "cleaning pad deal" you're speaking of is?
