Ableton live support for ARA 2
Re: Ableton live support for ARA 2
Currently shopping for other DAWs since I've started working with more live-recorded vocals. The difference in workflow speed is a too much of a killer to ignore

Re: Ableton live support for ARA 2
I was just just sent an invitation to a ten minute survey about my Live usage. In the end of this survey, there is a box to write whatever you think is missing in Live. This is a great oportunity to mention lack of pitch correction workflow - take the chance if you too get the invitation!

I really hope the new pitch device is a precursor to an integrated pitch editor. I’ll wait until it’s released to see how transparent it’s capable of being, but I’ve yet to see a realtime plugin that’s capable of convincing transparent correction (except for performers who are excellent singers to begin with—in which case, what’s the point?).
Re: Ableton live support for ARA 2
I agree, realtime pitch correction devices are generally not the most transparent ones but from what I have seen, Auto Shift seems on par with the rest. I like the functionality and the interface - and this is a scale aware device! Very well done so far Ableton!slow.robot wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 1:13 pmI really hope the new pitch device is a precursor to an integrated pitch editor.
Now, lets wait for the integrated pitch editor!
