Lehmann is the world's best goalkeeper. I also love to see Kahn's face :)
Congratulations to all Germans... It's a beauty to see cambiasso and the evil argentina cryin'
It's soo their style, try to arranje a fight after the game. What a shame.
Adapting the worst words on all oficial buses: "Stand up. Argentina is FLYIN HOMEEEEEEE." Uhu!

portugal deserved to win, i was sad to see england go, but rooney blew it on the world stage, and so i'm happy portugal went on.

god i hope brazii wins, imagine that game between portugal (with scolari, brazilian coach in 2002) vs brazil and the 94 coach? god what a dream match.

wasn't exactly sure what rooney got the red card for, fine when you see in slow motion he stops on Carvalho's bollocks, but in realtime it just looked like he was staggering about.
English pundit opinion seemed to be that the ref wasn't going to show a card at all before Ronaldo started waving himself in the ref's face. It seems that way as they show the replay the ref is doing a 'right lets get on with it' referee face, then Ronaldo says something and the ref looks at Rooney, Rooney says WTF and pushes Ronaldo (they both play for Man. utd.) and at that point the Ref's face changes and he reaches for a card.

it seemed pretty odd.

especially as the next shot was of Ronaldo walking away winking and making a 'shhh' motion with his mouth.

he will never be able to return to Man Utd. I can tell you that now.

Even the pundits said he deserves a good kicking, my opinion is something stronger. I hate that, when players harass the Ref into a red card. Did Carvalho have to go off or even receive treatment ... no. he was fine. just cheating.

mind you Rooney was isolated and useless so hardly missed!

we should have beat them 4-4-2 by playing like a proper English team

and then broken Ronaldo's ankles just for fun.

Forget it Angstrom, you should be proud of great performance, the fact is English make the best loosers, I mean it as a compliment. The high class of the team lives longer then just loosing or winning. It is a pity we wont see England Germany which for me is always football at its best. Loosing a game but leaving with dignity and respect unlike the Argentinians who do not deserve to compete with civilised nations.
Both teams gave outstanding performances considering how good the opponents were.
Have a beer and enjoy Brasil France which might be great if Zidane keeps up his form.
