I repeat
We simply have to admit that Apple is nailing this and it is one of the reasons they have people lining up overnight at stores around the world, and products sold out for months. These people aren’t hypnotized zombies, they simply love beautifully designed products that are user centric and work how they are supposed to work.
Also I read a new (to me) term today: ABA - Anything But Apple. Haters now have their own acronym. Good for them.

I can't even imagine what it must be like to work at a company that competes with Apple.

RIM have been around longer than iPods, iPhones and iPads... if anything i'd say they got lazy, took a nap, woke up and Apple had run past leaving nothing but a trail of smoke and a link to download iTunes.

I'll tell you all right now that the Steve Jobs Keynote from '97 - which is the link in the RIM letter - is nothing short of
RIVETING.
My God. Everytime I think I can't admire Steve Jobs any more than I already do, something else happens that kicks it up a notch.
The amazing thing is his total candor and almost 'fuck you' attitude throughout.

He pretty much summed up the RIM exec's whole point in the open letter…
