I didn't realize I was compressing a 700mb file and 12 tabs of Firefox open while I was running this test. This is my everyday surf the web system that's a part time DAW. I'll have to run this on the machine I do most audio work.

Audio Buffer Size is fixed at 576 samples, at 288 samples CPU Meter reads 50%

Anybody knows how L 8.13 compares to the previous versions? isit more hungry? have this feel on my machine et least the cpu meter is not as relaxed anymoe and goes up quickly when doig certain things like starting a midi clip...
but maybe i just give it more attention?
anybody has any before / after insights?
