I don't mean to get all myrnova about it, but the BBC is hopeless at explaining things nowadays. A few years back I was listening to a Radio 4 documentary about the Rendlesham Forest incident - US troops chasing strange lights thru the woods of a nuclear missile site - and they explained it away as being both a meteor AND a lighthouse. Something is up when Photek makes a better documentary than a multi-billion pound broadcaster.

+1 the Beeb has gone way downhill in that respect.. or maybe I just got older and more cynical and less likely to believe the bullshit they can peddle

they are much more clever at it because they do great documentaries and other shows so you expect their news to follow the same standards.. John Pilger has much to say on this.....

If you appreciate so-bad-it's-good cinema then this might just find a place near the top of your list. I Love it. It has a genuine sincerity that is just charming. Incredibly stilted non-acting, great dialog, & some truly unbelievable "special" effects. Plus some music that you will recognize from the original 'Night Of The Living Dead'. It's a classic.
