First gate uses it's sidechain to receive audio from whichever source you want. I expect that the minimum settings on it should allow all audio through without effecting it. EQ then should be set as you wish. Second gate acts as a gate on the eq'd audio. Macros could be easily mapped to the controls you want.
why is that first gate there in that rack? doesnt really seem to do anything, considering the settings.

i used audio damage plug in's the orignal file that is why i didn't include the orignally file
what i did was to create 4 loops in impulse and set a lunch clip on a 16th, with legato so each clip slides into the next.
this was then set through a few beat reapeats and flanges etc.

So I wanted to emulate that fx sound wacky alienish intro you hear at the beginning of a dolby mastered movie. I always loved it especially as a kid.
so i started with 6 operators, 4 osc each, 5 voices per; so a total of 120 oscillators. they are all in a rack with basic stuff mapped like waveform, envelope and tuning.
after several hours of fiddling with this stuff I thinks I got somewhat close to it. reguardless, its a pretty cool organ sounding vst in the end.
press and hold E2 on your midi keyboard while dragging the "Fine" parameter in the rack from full up to full down. It tunes all of the oscillators but at a different rate and direction. In the midi clip, the "Level" knob is also automated in map mode to fade in the oscillators at a different rate. (This part got really cpu intensive somehow I can't figure out why?) I wish I could do this over more that an octave; so please let me know if you think of something.

might as well put this here
I was just messing about with using Simpler as a synth using the basic waveforms from the components folder in the Live Library, and maybe one or two created with Robert Henke's AMS file generator
