I believe, by intervening, I have saved a great deal of potential damage which could have been caused had your belongings caught fire.

History clearly shows that furniture regularly catches fire and I believe that, by destroying all of your belongings, my timely actions have prevented much greater suffering which would have been caused to your neighbours, not to mention danger to the emergency services.

totally off-topic but the correct term is 'may God bless' not "god bless" unless you feel you're in a position to tell God what to do.
