I'd just be fucking happy when I can mirror an iPad screen to ANY fucking TV or projector wirelessly - without the fucking use of an AppleTV as a bridge.

I mean, shit. The demand for easy to use wireless mirroring far outweighs built in projectors.

LOOOOOOPPP!!
There’s a $3 background running computer plugin that allows you to airplay to any computer you have it installed on.
In order for an idevice to airplay to any TV there would have to be some kind of chip installed which may be cheap but do you really think Apple wants to be getting constant complaints and bad press about it not working on some POS Vizio TV bought at Costco?
And need I remind you there’s no other portable device that can wirelessly play media to anything?
If anything Apple should come out with a discount Apple TV 6-Pack.

Yeah, but we've already seen AirPlay installed on home stereo systems from a handful of manufacturers so that you don't need an AirPort Express. I'm just sayin.....AirPlay for TVs can't be far behind.
Actually, with corporate screen sharing routers like InFocus Lite Show III, I've heard rumours of an iPad app that will auto connect to that device. I can only hope.

Anyone using any halfway decent battery powered speakers with their iPad? I just need something simple, compact, and better than the built in speaker for on the go writing and backyard DJing.
