If it ever came to litigation, I would say that five of these names would lose the case in court. Litigation is rare though. Lawyers only get involved when one or both of the acts are successful, and most cases settle out of court.

Which ever name you choose, I think it's a good idea for you + anyone who is currently "name-storming" to use a site like this to check for availability/originality:

If the domain is available, search the name on MySpace, Last FM, and any other resource where you can find tons of underground musicians. If the .com is available and you can't find anyone else with the name, then buy the domain and get to work on the music.
If you don't do this you could be setting yourself up for future headaches + heartbreak.
