Ah! Missed this post on first read. This is a slightly more realistic idea than my suggestion. I would definitely buy an iPad app for each device, assuming a fair price. Guess I would need an iPad first though!glitchrock-buddha wrote:I think a dedicated operator controller would be great. Although I don't really want to add more space. How about a dedicated ipad operator app? Hopefully the touchable guys get to it soon.

hardware bit's a little farfetched but ipad apps would definitely be a smart business move since they're already coding software.

I would definitely buy one of these (assuming it was priced reasonably, sub-$200 being ideal). I've recently fallen in love with Operator, and will be buying a new MIDI controller to lock to it for more or less exclusive use, but no controller has enough knobs for the kind of control I'd really like.

I'd rather have an analogue hardware Operator Synth, not just a controller.

most hardware fm synths are digital aren't they?

I guess so, all the better, make an analogue one. I guess my thinking is to relieve the laptops CPU a little. If they were going to make an integrated controller, why not just make it a unit that could work on it's own, digital or otherwise.
