I love lost, and it never went down the crapper and was reinvigorated. the whole show was planned out and finished in season 3, so
beats me as to what your talking about there boy genius.

love u lol.

that was directed to Loop, not beats me, as i saw yur name mysteriously make its way into my post. do you work for dharma?!?!?

Oh c'mon. Season 3 was a complete stinker. I nearly stopped watching. All the melodrama... Oof.
Now Heroes.....Stopped watching. About 5 minutes into the 3rd show of this season I pressed stop on the Tivo remote. Deleted the Season Pass. Done. There has never been a show that went so downhill, so fast. Zero interest. It suffers from the same writing problem that faces Battlestar: Characters keep doing the same shit over and over again. How many times has Silar switched sides in just 3 episodes? Bennet - with the company. Fighting the company. With the company. Fighting the company. You have an entire mythology that you could start to build, and yet you wander aimlessly in these character flip-flops. Oi!
Wow, what other sci-fi can we bring into this Lost thread, lol?
Fringe? Tried to get into it, but every show was like a bad episode of Manimal - and that's saying something.

That was crazy, I think he swapped sides 3 times in a single episode. Most of the time there just wasn't any reason for him swapping sides, he just did it which was even crazier as it was totally out of character.

Totally agreed on Heroes - first season was great...now, no longer on Tivo!
As for BSG, I was TOTALLY right about the 5th cylon being a MacGuffin!!
Ok other shows - 24 is still rockin' hard! I like this season a lot!
Damages is now kicking ass in Season 2.
I still miss the Shield.
Six Feet Under on DVD - still a great show, withstanding the test of time.

Just started watching SFU for the second time with the GF. I find I'm noticing it to be funnier the second time around and not as dramatic/sad.

Mrs. Neb was so into the characters that she couldn't bear to watch the episode where a certain key character dies...heartbreaking indeed....

While this post was entirely un-funny, it did have an unexpected funny moment - look at the suggested viewing on the right side of Youtube when you click...it's like the best of the worst of the Internet from two years ago.

I'll bet my house that the john locke that had been appearing out the jungle in the earlier seasons is in fact the time travelling Locke from the current season, shaping events.

Agreed! It's the new Live 8 (time) warping engine.

i think the fact that Locke has been saying all along that they were destined to be there, on the island, and the big reveal that Locke basically created his own destiny because of the time-jumping was awesome. we still dont know exactly why he is able to walk ... but im very interested in the Locke-centric episode coming up (i think its ep 6 or 7)
I was sort of a fan in season 1, but when i saw desmond in the hatch and found out about Dharma i was instantly an unabashed fanboy and have been ever since. i dont care if 20 million people think the show sucks; to me, it is the greatest television show ever made. ever. i will be very sad and happy when it ends.
so, uh, i didnt know that a lot ableton live fans were also lost fans ... cheers

I tend to agree...I haven't seen anything that this complex, this insane, this mind-blowing, or this clever. The characters are superbly rich, and the storylines are amazing. Before this, I'd say X-Files was up there, but now, Lost is the benchmark by with any intelligent drama or sci-fi will be measured.
