i can handle a bit of trek

looking forward to it but don't know when I will get to see it. we have the new pixar film (up) ear marked for our daugters first movie.

i loves some SF, but Ive never liked the new Treks. Mostly because it has nothing to do with SciFi at all. Its a frontier morality story, that just happens to be set on spaceships. A soap opera in jumpsuits. Most people Ive met who are Trekkies have no interest in SciFi in general, unless its other Scifi themed soap operas like Battlestar or DS9.

I liked the movies though, as they tended to have some science and action in them. Khan FTW!

Ill go see this one, im partial to a reboot.
