Damn I'm glad I found this thread. I was excited to get my 33% discount on Sampler, specifically because I thought it would timestretch. I thought that was the main selling feature vs. Simpler!
I thought I'd be able to drag clips from session into the keyzone and they would automatically stay synced to bpm just like they would in Session view!
What a disappointment. The more I use Live the more I become disillusioned. So sad they decided to focus on 3rd party stuff instead of improving on what they already had:/

i use alchemy, NI-kontakt and sampler but sampler still is a nice sampler.
the difference with simpler is the keyzones and layering multiple samples.
sampler doesn,t go with a great soundlibrary like kontakt but the integration of sampler in live is what makes it easy to use.
drag and drop samples and no difficult loading off samples.
