No more updates, can't upgrade anymore, no more tech support. I also plan to change OS, cause XP wih 2 gigs max is too low nowadays. (Live crashes when I exceed 2 gigs ram)

These are enough reasons for me to buy Live when I get a refund...

People still buy shit from scambay? That website is infested with scammers. Theres a reason most of that shit is super cheap. Because its either, stolen, fake replicas of the original products, or non-exsistent.

I filed a claim with PayPal against this same guy and my claim was denied. I had even paid with the PayPal credit card.

Here is what PayPal said:

We're unable to decide this claim in your favor at this time. PayPal's Buyer Complaint Policy applies to the shipment of goods but not to disputes about merchandise quality.

I guess a software license is considered "merchandise quality".

Well you are a lucky person. Paypal refused to refund me because it was more than 45 days after the transaction... but Ableton told me about the situation only 60 days after I bought the software.

Very, very frustrating.

How did you fund the PayPal transaction, if it was with a credit card you could claim it back from them instead.

Thanks, but I also have Sonar. And I will not uninstall Live, you know, I feel like I paid for it...
