Metallica wanted to be Dokken? what? sorry but that's completely clueless beyond all recognizable levels of retardation. they're totally different bands from completely different scenes.

Metallica started as a bay area thrash band that loathed the LA scene. Dokken was part of that LA hair band metal scene.

I only posted Dokken because ThrowAway didn't know what chugga chugga meant.

I couldnt give a specific definition of metal. I dont really get 80% of the different genre names. Id rather list bands that I consider metal. That music was hippyish. like the greatful dead it smelled of onions and manure.
