Seriously, I am well known in enginerring circles (hint - former magazine columnist), and if I really want to speak me mind, i need to be able to do it anonimously. IS THAT SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND?
Your incapability to grasp the concept to be introduced is heart-breaking! Train your brain before you enter a forum and use your eyes to read: Registering on this forum is possible for non-Live owners.

And you don't even have to use your real name for the login name, so how about "Incoherent" as a user name for you? :)

hi everyone,
the propheads (like so often) got the right solution:
one forum for unregistered users -
and one for registered users (owners of the software).
that's it - you can get rid of the stupid guest-(we are so free, we got pirat copies of the software - freedom of boring speech)-wankers, if you like - or go to the serious forum.
nice day
cheers

whow, it's funky here.
i can't understand so much passion. Here we're all "pseudo" isn't it?
I love knowing who's speaking to me, otherwise I'll call you on phone or fax.
If somebody dislike me here, he dislikes my "pseudo" that' s all, not me.
Excuse my poor english.

Freedom of speech does - and thank fuck for that - not equal the right to be heard.

Aaaanyways, as to remaining anonymous... you just gotta pick an alias that's not associated with your real name. Anyone with two braincells can Google 'noisetonepause' and come up with my real name and use that to get my phone number to make crank calls, but hey, I'm willing to risk that. You don't have to.

Because that's how they're known in the industry: as "stupid" and "retarded."

What's all this 'industry' talk? What industry?

Surely you can't mean 'music industry' I thought everybody was aware that these days that old and long dead horse is just a skeleton still being frantically flogged by desparate A&R men together with talentless sychophants teetering on the brink of extinction.

As far as I'm concerned, we are trying to kick start the 'non-industrial revolution' in music.

Industry indeed! Pah!

I promise you I will clean them prior to commencement of licking.

I've been around the block bro, my morals and values in the things i say are more important than my "career". I make a living writing and performing music, and if the things i say sway my so called success in any way, so be it. All roads leave to the Grave.

This has everything to do with having balls. You have none, as evident by the fact you dare not reveal yourself on controversial subjects as it may damage your reputation in the industry. *Laugh* This is exactly what having guts and conviction is all about, believing in what you say so much that you care little of the reprocussions.

you are a coward.
I'm with AdamJay on this one - this cat knows what's up -

Sheesh, how friggin hard is it to register an email address

You say your "known in the industry" well as long as your a guest, your a guest - point blank - it's retarded

Just register and if your industry co-parts find out you posted on the Ableton Forum (God forbid) and they shun you then they're obvisously the ones missing the point

or perhaps your so big in the industry that if all your "groupies" found out you were posting on the Ableton forum they would ditch you for a non-registered "poster" - your stupid and probably have herpes...

register or go whack off to some more internet porn - TODD!

Todd...meaning - A really tall (or oddly short) shiny shirt club dork on E at the bar going "whut, whut yeah!!! Farina, your my boy!"

Can we turn this feature on now? If you do not know how to get an anonymous email account for registering on forums, then maybe Live is not for you.

Anonymous wrote: MAybe the fact Im known in the industry has something to do with it.. Once you get to my level you might understand........

But I still maintain whether you are known or not. Abletons forum is good, but now they are simply going toi change lik eevry other forum out there (except a a few cool ones who have have intelligent people and can spot trollers instantly)

Remember abletons forum is not looking for advertising revenue which is an important part of many forums whether musiic, art, politic etc. RARELY do I see a post on this forum that doesnt have something to do wth Ableton Live. NOW that is something original on a non required registered forum.

BUT...Ableton are now becomeing a corporate emtity. They are going to play ball like the big guys.....and that is a bad thing. Not a disaster as the software is excellent. But their freedom of speech on their forums is actually one of the things that ttracted me to Ableton LIve

This has nothing to do with ballsssssss. It has evrything to do with freedom of speech. I just thought petrhaps the Germans had learned something from their past...Seems not

Anyway, Live is an excellent appplication but this is a sign of things to come

mark my words

Peace
:)

hahaha... what a thread.
Ironicly, threads like this get started by an idiot guest and end up to be very active. This guy says he writes columns, yet he can't spell or type.

I loved the beta phase forum. The postings had more content. And that for bugreports.....

Basicly this proves that a registerd forum is better.
I know they mean register on the Ableton website, so anyone can join. But would it be such a big deal to have a forum for Live owners? We bought it, if enough owners demand such a forum they cannot refuse it.

Having a forum for owners only will make us closer to the Abletons again. As is proven in the beta forum.

I still can't believe that people think being able to have a guest account is symbolic of freedom of speech!!

The only reason you would want to use the guest account is to stir shit on the forum. Anyone with a registered username should have the balls to say what they want to say without having to hide behind a wall.

The internet is a wall anyway, so why the fuck are you complaining? Freedom of speech does not stretch to the internet, and at the end of the day.. Ableton pay for us to use this forum: Everything is their call.
