Right on brother. I love what you said right here. Respect.

when asked later in the day why I was down. I responded "its fathers day" she says "oh" and whilst trying to appologize she gives me a hard time for making her feel bad......
that my friends is "typical woman"
Wow. See that seems so bleak to me. I think I'd have to go out like Hemingway if I were caught in something like that.
For what it's worth, Happy Father's Day.

That sucks. I have a three month rule to avoid situations like this.

What a bunch of misanthropic fuckwits you lot are.
I married the right girl, we have a great relationship, I have three kids under 7, I work, commute, find time to read all the kids a story before bed every night, share a dinner and some conversation with my wife, enjoy a healthy, regular and great sex life with my wife, AND find the time to make music and do the gardening, maintain the house, car, grow vegetables, etc.
I have ups and downs sure, but we deal with it blow by blow. Can my kids be a pain in the arse, sure. Are they going to grow up with issues, sure. Who doesn't, they'll grow up and get over it.
In the mean time I love it when they go and be themselves even if it annoys other people (sorry Tone), It's the only time they get to do that and get away with it before society crushes their spirit and forces them to 'conform'. Tyhe one piece of advice I will give them is to avoid misanthropes, nothing brings you down quicker than a whining misfit. Avoid!
You can sit around whining, or you can get your shit together.
Your choice lads.

Sounds like my life, but only have 2 girls. (8 & 4)
It is my oldest girls' birthday today. Great day!
Oh, but I'm crap at maintaining the house.
And my sex life is very unhealthy

Better to have the sex than a well maintained house.
Some of my DIY leaves a lot to be desired...but I make up for it by giving her plumbing a right good going over.
