^ yeah, i'm about to hit swingers in santa monica. great brkfst, hot waitresses and i never pay for coffee.

But ya get what i'm sayin. Why argue about what music isn't. It simply doesn't matter what anyone thinks.

I'm getting the brkfst burrito w xtra avocado.

People who think you cant dance to IDM clearly dont know enough of what is out there. IDM (an acronym I hate but whatever its the one that stuck) encompasses an EXTREMELY diverse array of electronic music styles, if not simply for the fact that anything that doesn't fit into the other categories gets lumped into this one. It ranges from ambient to breakcore to glitch to whatever, sometimes all from the same artist on the same album. I listen to a lot of music, and I think this genre is (was?) the most important because it utilized technology in more sophisticated and creative ways than any other genre did. The experimental-ness of it makes it difficult to listen to for most people, but it is from these experiments that come a new bar of musical ideas and production techniques.

I much preferred the term braindance, its closer to the way the music works, its music for creative people who like to be stimulated whilst working on other art i find.

Good Point. But then again, millions of people bought pet rocks Image

millions of people also listen to miley cyrus, kayne west, 50 cent, and a bunch of other shit that is garbage. trance is just garbage for europeans and ravers. IDM rules

does anyone remember Naugles before they merged with Del Taco? they had egg burritos. the tortilla was always warm and soft and a little sticky from the steamer.

IDM is exactly what the Cornish and posh kids in Oxford consider to be 'dance' music. I have been to IDM nights and witnessed people dancing.

so only IDM/braindance artists like to be stimulated while working on their art?

speaking of stimulated while I work on my art, I wonder if my wife would be down...
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.
