funny, I have Suite but those are the only two things I don't have. I didn't use Collision during the beta that much, I just wasn't into it. Latin percussion... don't need it, I'm fine with the EIC without it.
the other day I was thinking... I'd feel really stupid going to work every day and not spending the money. get it!! j/k it's up to you.

How can you have Suite and not Collision? I thought the point of Suite was "You get everything!"

Well they appear to come "free". I don't think the upgrade price is less without them. 259 seems reasonable enough. I've been kickin the bo bo around here long enough to have noticed a huge drop in whine factor so it looks like its time... what was that feature you showed me... looper? That was cool. me likey. plus I know groups are cool...

now that I finally get sends

hmpf
...but once you get 9 don't expect me to move any faster with the upgrades beta boy
I'm like a cat - I check out the scene and bury turds

I got Suite Live 7 (or 6?), not 8.
yeah, that was Looper I showed you, great for starting a song from a feel and not from a CLACK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLACK!!
it won't just be Live 9 it'll be max4Live. shit, this is an expensive DAW to keep up with.

Can you use the older version of the instruments in Live 8?? i.e. Live 7's operator and drum racks in Live 8?

never mind... its done.
I am now a convert. **shaves head and pisses on feet**
So you can send those .als files over from version 8 TD
and just to prove I'm a good sport I'll post back the install time after I know how long that is... seeing as how I took up a whole page of the thread with my conversion and all

Huh? Don't tell me you paid for Operator twice??!?
If you owned Operator previously, it's automatically updated to the new version in 8.

Anyone know how bad it is for the library if this was cancelled after about an hour and a half with the progress bar at 31% by somebody with zero patience and a need to create music?

thats why I posted the link up top there... its all in the verbiage... apparently I must have just paid extra for collision and latin percussion

hope it was worth it... as in - I use them.
fortunately I like to ice my beats with trippy percussion after all is said and done... I guess I'll just have to see if the icing is tasty after the install

installed 30mins ago, update of the lib at 19% now, though i only got live and operator....
i requested it before in another thread to only update the lib for installed instruments, would save some time when installing.

It took more than an hour here on a quadcore machine running win xp with no 8.05 betas installed before for the non-suite update.
There seem to be loads of new presets for everything that made it feel like ages to install...
