hi, 1st thank you for sharing my video, even if it's by far the most boring i've ever done, by request of a fellow twiterer who wanted the song to not change all the time like it mostly does in my other videos
to all the haters, hey chrominance zero is my side project, which i do mainly for fun, not to be a god
i can and do work, i do all my music in my spare time.
There is no computer in this setup, the mxer is a pretty old motu(actually mark of the unicorn) midi mixer 7s.
There is 2 me, the one who is a producer and spends 2 weeks tweaking hi hats in logic for a 3 minutes drum and bass song and the other part of me who says fuck that shit I wanna play. I come from a rock band(real, not game) background, so i need to play without a net to feel alive IYKWIM, playing with a computer and controllers like i did from 2002 to 2007 approx was not that experience, there was always a safeguard (ableton live from 1 to 5, reason), with the elctribe, there is none, if i miss a pattern or a mute/solo, it will be shit, so im even more motivated to fo it rigt and practice every day for 3-4 hours.
due to the nature of my craft and the machines i use, there is no thing like totall recall on the setup, some notes on a setlist, some patches saved in the synths, but that's about it, so every new "song" i compose i film it to remember what the original feel was so if ever someone asks me to do that one for let's say a compilation, i can watch my hands go and guess what i did, thet recreate it, sometimes like this one, the song is neat but the performance is sub par
anyway, thanks for watching and if you want to see some more action, check
