i do listen to music all the time,
i think its a must to stay focussed with the stuff that youre doing / about to do.
i mean, you like to make great music, dont you?
so you have to listen to great music.

My experience is that since getting into Ableton et al it has changed the way I hear music. I used to just listen to it but now I find myself analysing it eg 'that's a LP filter he's tweaking there, I know how that's done' etc etc. Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing...
