Worst thing is the terrible grammar in the thread title...

There should be a separate forum for people who despite being able to write long, mistake-free messages, somehow write thread titles like this. Keep this kind of faux poor grammar OUT of the General Forum.

Tsk Tsk.

I'm more afraid of people that want to forbid a Bill Hicks or a Monty Python.

That are signs of dark times ahead.

derzai what you describe that is a comedy construct
a joke with a punchline
it is not in the same league as simply discribing a malicious act for the amusement of other lowlifes
'i sexually assaulted a sleeping person' haha! so funny joke! NOT!
i promise u if ur friend said 'my grandfather died in concentration camp, he was gassed with zyklon b' you wouldn't be going 'haha'

The point you are trying to make about this forum has been hopelessly lost in a slew of shite posts.

sorry, but this topic gets me going.
When I was twenty I went to visit the former concentration camp in Dachau. We were about 20 miles from it parked on a parking place to check how to drive exactly.

I had put the map of the region on the roof of the car and had a look where to drive, when an elder German came to me and asked me: Where do you want to go? I felt very embarrased and I didnt want to answer him, but I felt I had to, so I silently said: to Dachau. He didnt hear me, so he repeated his question, again I answered with a very low voice and again he didnt hear me. The third time I decided to speak it out loudly, and said DACHAU, but so loud that all the parkingplace could hear it.
Then the guy said: Ah, das Ding.

When we arrived we found a rusty sign somewhere in the bushes besides of the road, it said: Denkmal der Opfer des Zweitem Weltkrieges.

There was a documentation center there, with horrible pictures, and I found out that the first people to be killed there were German communists.

Yeh, second world war is a topic that will never end.

Oh no, I've heard bad jokes that were not funny at all.

I said too that it is in the context.

Different people have different tresholds.

The people that told me the bad jokes found it was funny.

To them it was funny, no to me.

I tried to abstrahact the case.

yeah also, i am not sure if it changed, but in my school times it was obligatory to visit a concentration camp via school,
something you surely never forget, especially if you see it that young
scary is that the east german secrete service police prison here in berlin hohenschoenhausen http://en.stiftung-hsh.de/ looks the same and has similar torture chambers, they did not learned a fucking thing. they just continued under a different flag.

and germans killed by nazis, did not all had to be communist, just being against them no matter in which way was enough.
just like being in the former GDR, same shit happened there... less killing, but the same cruelty, reasons for imprisonment and dictatorship,
they actually learned a lot from hitler. (in respect of PR and media manipulation, secret service police actions and the like... ) and continued.

one of my family members died in the former GDR, political reasons.
and one was imprisoned without even a trial... political reasons.

guess it runs in the family that we don't like to be told what and how to think.

also i do believe one of the worse things is not being able to make jokes from it!

it's vital to make jokes. how otherwise you ever will gain a healthy distance?, people having problems with jokes of that kind, are usually not capable to deal with anything... it's a cheap excuse of not being able to digest bad things and saying, oh it's not appropriate to make a joke... WTF.

i love the english for taking the piss out of hitler and other cruel things in the world. MOVE ON.

how can you compare "jizz stuff on an asleep partner", and "my father worked in concentration camps"?

I know it's only to get us react, but doing so you really act like an emotionnaly retarded person.

the "jizz" topic, yes, is retarded too. But nothing really evil in there, only people having fun discussing something that, yes, may be chocking, but was entirely humor. it's not speaking about RAPE, come on. (jizz on someone isn't rape. and they were talking about their partners. if the partner wakes up and is chocked : there may be an end to the love story, point.)

and even so you can't compare rape to mass murder.

oh, and I don't know why I discuss this (perhap's because I could have posted in the "jizz" thread)

you're a kind of META-TROLL, one that doesn't troll the topics, but the whole forum!
