The public beta will start by the end of the month if all goes right.

Shite... I was thinking mid-month. Well, I really can't complain, NI has been bringing it regarding the Maschine dev! Now I just wish they'd take Kore 2 to the next level... it hasn't been so usable for me, sadly.

What do you think of the 5Gb library provided with the beast?

lots of crap in it?

all demos and videos I saw were hip hop style with shitty drum shots (IMHO), cowbells and other crap I'll never use...

are the "electro" libraries interesting?

cheers

The library is actually pretty good in my ears. Loads of different patches and sounds to play with.

Wow your gearlust is impressive... is that Macpro 8core new as well  ?
Remember you can use the Maschine in demo mode in case you'd find something more expensive instead and send it back to thomann ;-)

Just kiddin'

I decided to enter the gearlust competition, I may have my chance !!

I prefer buying stuff without demoing, it gives more points for the competition

I think I'll buy a lemur and a monome in a few weeks.

The library is quite an excellent collection of drum sounds. Many of the kits are complete boring crap and yes you hear many of those in demo vids for some reason. But there are very interesting electro kits indeed. It's rare that I actually like a while kit. I'll usually like about half the sounds in a kit, but easy to swap stuff and make your own.

thanks glitch, It's what I imagined.

I saw that is was plain easy to integrate samples in the kore library of maschine, with tags like "snare, electro" "kick"... that's a real deal!!!!

I cant' wait.

ps: stop procracinating and get off this forum, and avoid especially the lounge

I thought the samples were crap at first and I thought the fx were crap at first.
woe was meeeeeeee
maschine is a sample mangling workstation. you can take not so great samples and make them sound great.
it's really blowing my mind like live did when I first found ableton and what a combination, I really can't think of any other two pieces of software more perfect for each other. I want to know the name of the person who came up with maschine cause I need to ad them to my list of heroes with gerhard and henke and jj

same for me, I was just thinking about the guys who had the idea and developed the stuff... fracking terrific!

and seeing that they're quickly updating the software to reach the users complaints and wishes... at that BRILLIANT level!!!!

wow.

The live + maschine combo seems indeed the ultimate composition duo for me.

You'll probably see me overloading this thread when I'll have passed some days with it, I hope, really quick!!

cheers

How about going to Native Instrument's website to watch their videos or even just searching for reviews on google and actually reading them?
