Arh ... I just installed Max/MSP and tried to get it to show in Live. But nothing showed up.

It then turned out that my Max version was 8.1.1. So I guess that my Max demo will have expired by the time 8.1.2 is out.

Ah ok. I had to go into the full demo version that cannot save. :-S

The demo isn't actually out yet. What you're running into now is the demo mode which includes M4L because you don't have the full suite. But its not the actual M4L demo.
As you can see on the top of this page, Ableton is quoted as saying that the M4L demo comes as of 8.1.2 which is now as of 8.1.3.
So you have to wait until that version is released until you can do a proper demo of M4L.

Please note that we just released 8.1.3.

As long as you have Max 5 installed, you can demo it with this version.

suite owners now have the option of demoing m4l with 8.1.3. just in case anyone was wondering and it is indeed cool.
