Dude, I've always wondered what a bass or synthline would sound like through my old Metal Zone. I'm gonna have to dust that bad boy off and give it a shot!

The holy metal zone, funny thing is that guitarists usually don't like it, they find the sound out of it too bright/too cold.

the parametric equalizer is really efficient on synths and that's what makes it good for electronic music.
You can use it both as distortion and as filter, very good!

This is a good point. I always HATED the Metal Zone pedal on guitars, and it's predecessor the HM-1 Heavy Metal pedal, I much preferred Boss's SD-2 dual overdrive, and OD-2 Turbo Overdrive. I remember liking the old Heavy Metal pedal on synth sounds quite a bit too, especially moog leads.

I also used to own a Keeley modded DS-1 which was awesome, probably my fave. Unfortunately, it got stolen from a gig I did and then I moved from the UK to Canada and stopped playing in gigging bands.
