Re: SYSEX Output

Just discovered I can use
to convert an int to hex, so the JavaScript isn't needed. Still can't work out how to create a useable sysex string that can be converted into an object though...
I've got this, now:
Problems are:
1. can't get result to update because only changes on first inlet of sprintf cause result to be evaluated, and the value from the control needs to be at the end of the string. Also, all the inputs evaluate to 0 unless message boxes are pressed (this is probably really basic stuff related to events flow I haven't got my head around yet)
2. resulting formatted string doesn't seem to be a valid input to live.object
3. I get multiple copies of each value from the control. It's set for Int output, but it seems it sends out multiple copies of the same integer output value 'between the steps' when the control is operated, which seems a bit pointless. I managed to work around this with my JS earlier, but there must be some way of stopping duplicate values without using JS.
Code: Select all
