ok, so for the experimental side of things
the EQ3Tape
same as the Eq3 but the kill switches are tapestop toggles, so its like having 3 decks playing each band separately
try it out, see how you like it

sounds less glitchy...without going through both versions of your patch, what do you reckon did the trick ?
it wasn't crossfading the two signals with M4L.bal2~, tried that as well.

after many trials and only triggering certain things to find the glitch it seemed like the problem was the groove trying to read the old buffer and the new one being recorded for that split secondmonohusche wrote:sounds less glitchy...without going through both versions of your patch, what do you reckon did the trick ?

so i set it up to clear the buffer every time it the groove ends
also i put a small delay crossfade to smooth it out

yeah, I saw that, just wondering whether there is such a thing reading from two buffers, especially as the recording tape head should always be in front of the reading tape head.
might be worthwhile to ask the guys at the cycling forums.
