The one key difference is that it's absolutely critical for Live - I mean of course all programs need to be bug free, but people are going to be far more worried about a crash in front of 2000 people than they are over a little studio down timeleedsquietman wrote:Every DAW has had bad releases. Examples - Cubase SX2 and Cubase 4 were very nasty on first release and for a period of time after. Logic Pro 7 was very nasty for a time. Digital Performer 6 has been lauded as a disaster (better on DP7). A lot of people persistently whining and being critical would have had their accounts deleted by these forums.
