As for 10.4 not being officially supported, that's pretty weak.
Ok, I thought you were referring to 1.5 as the bugfix update, sorry, I see what you mean. And no I certainly don't fall into the camp that thinks something is perfect because I haven't experienced problems. There are enough of those people around here.
But seriously, he's said all along that 10.4 is not an officially supported platform, it was just known to work at first. He said he would try make compatible versions, but you have to see that it is a livelihood and I'm sure for the small number of people still on Tiger, it may not be the best move to focus too much on that.

Anywho, I respect the philosophy of sticking to the older OS. I must say that I do like Snow Leopard compared with Tiger though.

ya, you're right of course.
I've accepted the fact it's time to update to 10.5 ... absynth 5 is another 10.5+ only release that I've been holding out on.

At the end of the day, I do see that it is actually a bit of a gamble on his part to put the time into a 10.4 1.0.1 release. There's a good chance any 10.4 stragglers would have updated by then. Whatever, no big issue..

I don't upgrade OS's until I positively have to, that's how I rolls yo.
