For me the V4 changed the way I worked with Live : I just launch impulse, load a few samples in it and start playing with a rhythm. Then the ideas usually come easily.

With Impulse and Sampler included, Live has replaced my groovebox, which was my main "sketchpad" before.

The result : dozens of livesets.
I keep those that work well when playing live
I archive the others and forget about them. Then, on rainy days, sometimes, I go back to this big archive and sometimes find new ideas in it... No waste ! No lung cancer !

I dunno where u r from, but if I'd do that here in Moscow in no time I'd get my neighbours knocking at my door with a baseball bat.
this combined with the fact that my gf is jealous of my computer (!) and only waiting for an excuse to smash it with a heavy fryin pan, I prefer to respect ppl's sleep and use a good pair of headphones
