this may sound a bit noobish, but "is it ok" to use the individual track faders? :D

i tried to manage it with regulating the samples i used (- and + db in drumrack for example) , and the master volume from the synths itself.^^

i tried to let the track faders as they where haha^, dunno why, thought thats the pro'er way to go^^

thanks m8 :_D

it is OK, no problem mate

tweaking the individual volumes of synths, samples is first to be done.

individual tracks faders leveling is to be done then, when you're into MIXDOWN of the track

any way of working is OK, but some tips are allways cool

just search for TAREKITH's GUIDES (to mastering, to leveling...) they are really good.

and have a lots of experimentation

getting red in the individual tracks may not be a really big problem, but you should avoid clipping in the master track, for sure.

cheers

the master is getting red again,
level your individual track's faders down, and allways let the master fader at 0.

leveling DOWN is the way, mate, even if you keep on making agressive music!!

cheers
+100

you're on your way... when you accept this simple truth.
