One of my friends bands had their tour van broken into and all their gear stolen. They had a police report. Then they saw several items show up for sales on ebay and one thing in a pawn shop. By showing the police report to the pawn shop and ebay abuse people they were able to recover a few things.

thats a beautiful story... the only thing better than catching a thief and kicking the blood out of him is knowing that you get your shit back AND the cops are having their very special way with the chode.

lol @ chode. I'm in highschool again.

Does anyone have any experience with home owner's/renters' insurance for off-property indicents? I have this feeling I'm going to get buttraped and chode choked tomorrow when I talk to them.

 @ "chode choked"

receipts are your friends but don't tip your hand right away. if they'll give you top dollar for your 'dj mixer' there's no sense in proving to them its original value is less than they're offering. on the same note, everything you can prove will obviously be hard for them to deny... and so forth. wax on wax off, that type shit.
