i ve been using a pc and have seen ppl using mac......
it completly depends on what is it u wanna use
for ex
any digi design software should be worth used on a mac
logic works gr8 on with a ti book
reason seems to be okay
dp3 is a great mac interface software
but neundo on pc rocks
so does cubase sx
plugins are abunduntly available for pc support
even i ve seen some ppl using cake walk very nicely
sound forge acid . 4.5 , vegas never gave any probelems to me !
now u decide what softwares and peripherals u wanna run and play with
