SYNTHS:

- Reaktor (especially DSQ-32, Junatik, Verring)

- Atmosphere

- Trilogy

- z3Ta+

- Amplitube

- B4

- Pro 53

- Impulse

I have others but these are turning out to be my main tools

EFX:

- Reaktor (Spacemaster Stereo, Fusion Reflections, Two Knees Compressor)

- PSP VintageWarmer

- Elotronix

- Bionic Delay

- BBE Sonic Maximizer

- Classic Compressor

- Classic Flanger

- SuppaTrigga

- and of course, classic Live efx: Ping Pong Delay, EQ 4, Resonator

Again, have tons of others but I use these 80 / 90% of the time. Focus ...

Better to know a few instruments really well, and mangle the f*ck out of the presets sounds with loops, efx, resampling etc. imo.

morris215,
I had the same problem with a previous version of Live. Live couldn't see anything beyond a bad free vst I had in the folder. I went through and pull vst's out one by one until I found the bad vst. You can't see any in the viewer so it may be safe to assume that it's the first vst in your folder. Move it out and restart Live, then tell us what happened.

i was under the impression that live wouldnt start up if you had "bad" plug ins in the folder?..i had some what seemed to be bad ones and it crashed the program..so i removed them and then it seemed to start up fine..

ill try your suggestion though!
