Why not? Just curious.
Out of respect for dum, I won't go into detail about why he was banned. Suffice it to say that he was asked to abide by the community guidelines, and repeatedly refused to do so.

Generally, unless a user brings something into a public topic, all moderation (include banning) is handled privately - we aren't looking to "make examples" of people or otherwise humiliate them. I only mention that dum is gone so that you'll stop looking for him.
any chance of banning 3phase for being a bore?

I mean, this is the kind of shit 3phase posts AD FUCKING NAUSEUM.
While the early version of live seemed to work in the wright direction all later developmemts actually point to the spread sheet calcualtion standard business as usual style. At least ther was no sign whatsoever that live has been improoved in that regard since L1..all the spontanios freak stuff was there from version 1.. since than teh added just standard functionality..
only positive thing..the removed the prohibation to only have one pareamter assignabel to a controler number..
That was clearly a erd thing to ..to prohebit double assignments to avoid possible confusion :-/

That gobbledygook is ban worthy RIGHT THERE. :x

Excuse me whilst I shave off the skin on my cheek and fry it up with some eggs as a way of coping with the above.

I mean, HONEST TO FUCK. Every single time someone gets on the forum and makes the slightest of slights against Live, 3phase chimes in pronto with a nearly incomprehensible PhD about something or other that may or may not have anything to do with the topic at hand. He seemingly just likes to use any thread he can get his hands on as a platform to spout drivel about whatever wild hair is currently up his ass.

Every. Single. Time.

^ yeah, but he's actually talking about Live in his posts which is more than can be said about most.

We'd like to temporarily interrupt this broadcast to announce that Poop_Smear has just farted. Preliminary reports from the field would indicate that the fart was rather bodaceous. :o

We now return you to your regularly scheduled shitfest.... :D

My favorite 3phaseism is him constantly calling Live Life. This isn't a language barrier issue. It's the goddamn name of the program. Truly a bipolar powerhouse, couldn't be more passionate about Live's shortcomings but couldn't give less of a shit about explaining what he's complaining about in a way that is comprehensible.

A few years ago, I'd say he's probably typing in German, using Babel Fish to translate it all. But now, in 2010, I'd say he rather SHOULD be!

I like how every announcement of someone's ban is immediately followed by forum regulars trying to get some other regular they don't like banned. I don't read posts by people I don't think have anything to say, simple, effective, and doesn't paint me out as a snitch or overtly mean spirited. I recommend it.

But, seriously, though guys - here's what I do: I simply don't read posts by users who I don't think have anything to say.
Once you start ignoring them, you won't even notice their drivel any more.

Oh, snaaaaap! :P
