I love that controller! Somewhere between complete farcical comedy and complete absolute f**king genius!

Hehe

... necessity is a mofo
Works good though. No clicking when depressing the plungers, solid as, relatively small form factor, simple to 'program,' easy to repair or replace and integrates perfectly into Ableton.
I cocked a couple of things up but nothing that can't be dealt with if I ever get around to a v3. All I really need to find is a USB expression pedal (if it even exists ... I have not even looked) and I will be totally happy.

And is that puppy even available as a stand-alone purchase? Since you and I started chatting about GR4 awhile back I've been following that thing and it seems as though it's only available as part of a full software buy.
That's the trouble...I can't find one standalone for sale and I already own GR4.
Gjm, always loved that controller, was jealous of your wordworking skills! As it gets each update it gets better.

Meh thunks that on the refresh of the Traktor range of products we may see a GR4K...
Been wondering about this as well. I just ordered a Guitar Rig Kontrol (hardware only) which is now on backorder & I want to get Traktor. Tractor is on sale now. Should I buy now or wait? The Kontrol hardware may be on backorder for that reason? Wouldn't want to receive a GRK & have see the new one come on the market a few weeks later.
I thought the Moog pedal looked good as well & considered it at first, but it needs a wall wart & GRK doesn't need one. So that was one of the deciding factors.
