i mainly use reason 3.0.5 (i hate reason 4 and 5).

I know off topic, but I'm curious what could possibly be worse with Reason 4/5. It seems like they added some great features.

not only should it be possible to slow it down as much as you like, u should also be able to dial in minus bpm so it goes backwards. the master channel should have sampler like features and timestretching and transposing should be flawless. do it NOW ableton!

oh yeah , that is thinking out of the box, great idea, unfortunaltelly not practical because of the memory issues henke said

that would be awesome actually. forwardbackwards music. combine that will followactions on locators (and an lfo assigned to the bpm ) and you could make the most awesome generative set evar.

oh yeah I like that lfo on bpm idea, maybe it would also be cool to set different bpm for each track (plus lfos of course haha)

14 years after this post was made, and before seeing it I just tried to lower the BPM in Live 11, to 10 BPM, and 1BPM and couldn't.

I then searched why you cannot lower BPM past 20 and saw this post, and must say its incredibly sad that after all this time the ability never came into reality.

There are tons of uses for this in experimental productions. Reason 13 can do it, no issue.. ughhh,

Why not just ignore the tempo and go freely?

To implement 1 BPM, I'd suggest you use 32 BPM and write imagining 8 bars (32 beats) as 1 beat. That's the only thing i could think of!
What kind of track do you wanna write I'm curious!
