Hi,
Not to argue too much with your opinion, but have you looked at the release notes? To me, it looks like there are many Live fixes outside of Max for Live, no?
Kind regards,
Amaury
no, he didn't.
he's too busy running his rants through poor translators to read such things.

ah..you updated the release notes between yesterday night and today... ok..now the are a few crash related items..dont know if the interact with my crashes but the audiointerface/mac thing could be involved..so i instal the update and hope that max enhancements are no cause for further disturbance

mmm feeling maybe too quicky excited by 8.22 api improv, but some features like accessing any sub device and remaining IDS over the path means huge steps possible internally to my mind. doesn't tracking change of devices orders means an associated CV can follow, so if latency reports it open doors to full compensations? also 'accessing any param inside subracks, potentially mean some modulations recording, or at least linking to 'clips' certainly much more possible now, via MFL/ but possible more sexy build-in internal system.. let's go deeper with lfos, params sidecain and snaphots fairly doable.
mmmmm all of this comin in build 9?..please say im not dreaming. it gonna happen

you seem to busy being an arse to get the point.
ableton has serious sync issues with midi and a lot of us are really tired of being jerked around when we paid just as much money as everyone who could care less about midi sync. But they definately don't tell you anything about what ableton WON'T do prior to purchasing the program.
we just want steady sync. That's not asking much, instead they keep adding features and a lot of us have a bunch of hardware we should be able to use with the program. But that seems to be too much to ask...

Just wanted to say I am diggin the update so far.
The Program definitely starts up faster, and my sets load faster. I cant really confirm the DrumRack quality enhancements, but everything is running smoothly. I like the new M4L devices, however they still seem to be just a template for ideas. The Multi Channel Send stuff is pretty dope. However ClyphX and Hanz Pertov's APC 64 40 script seem to be out of whack at the moment. I trust Stray and Hanz will eventually sort it out, and everything will be grand again.
I did notice some weird stuff when trying to hot swap the new M4L devices. Some of them would not swap, and others would not drag and drop over and existing device. Some of them seem to be labeled as Audio devices but only want to be drag and dropped on midi tracks with instruments. Maybe I dont understand what they do or why the are in the M4L Audio device folder?
Havent tried messing with M4L in depth, such as trying to preset nested racks etc. I'm really glad to see access to this kind of stuff though.
So far so good.

Thanks for the info guys. For me 8.2.1 was quite stable but now I'm gonna take a leap of faith with the 8.2.2 'cause of your positive feedback.
Word of warning though. If it crashes on me, I'm coming for you

Weird, sometimes I can't activate the Metronome any more, neither on the APC40 with it's dedicated button, nor on the GUI.
Liking the new M4L features, but I'm sad that a lot of the earlier patches can't find the parameter destinations any more (e.g. 3X Parameter Sequencer). Ah well, the price of progress

Cheers! As others have pointed out, the new M4L devices are indeed a very nice treat

This is something to explore. Unless the patch is based on one of the fixed
misbehavior bugs there should be no intended incompatibilities, IMHO.

Doesn't appear at all in the plug-in browser? I just have Kontakt Player, not the full Konkakt, but mine's fine after updating to 8.2.2, both VST & AU.
