New macbook pro destroys my previous Core2duo...

My old MBP is 15 and my new one is 17, and the size isn't bothering me. 15 is a perfect size for portability though. Anti glare hi res screen is included w/ the 17, so that's nice. I'm not playing out ATM so maybe it will become an issue but for now I'm loving the 17.

17" are great until you have to move em.

MBP 17 aint so bad once you find a suitable bag for it. If yo are used to 15" PC laptops, then it seems to feel similar eight, just slightly longer (so need a slightly bigger bag - got a swissgear carbon for mine), but much slimmer.

What I do find much more of a strugle is not carting it around but trying to use it on a plane or similar, but then plane seats these days are so cramped that anything beyond an 11 or 13 is a struggle.
