I've made pseudo midi assignment patches, you map a midi message to a live object within the gui by clicking on it and then you can set the range and whether the control acts as a toggle or momentary one...

It basically acts as a midi editor for the APC40 currently but i'm due to update it for the Launchpad and then a modular version will follow....
