Good point. If her music was any good at all, I would expect to see some MP3 links on her site. I've seen her website for years and still never heard any music from her.

She was married to Mark Pulver (another major gear head) a while ago at NAMM, and as someone mentioned, Bob Moog gave her away. From what I remember they got divorced about 6 months later.

The first noble truth

As the Buddha Gautama has said "Desire is the root of all suffering."

This is the first noble truth of Buddhism.

Notice how your heartrate hastens, small drops of perspiration forming at the brow, digits tingling. Observe your own thoughts, are you thinking about want? Are you craving those things that you do not need? Because possessing them gives you a sense of greater fullfillment and completeness?

Your thoughts and ego are merely a hollywood western frontier town facade. A shell, with no substance, fleeting in time and space. Your material cravings only insure the cycle of suffering, in this life, and the next. These colored boxes with the small illumated points of light you pine for are as empty and meaningless as the vaporous cloud of your ego.

I'm torn between getting Absynth 3, Spectrasonics Trilogy, or the TC Powercore Virus plugin. Is any one worth more getting than the other?

gear whores...

mushrooms, neons, Red Moon as a name ...

I cannot think of any other genre than Goa, or, but that would kill me dying laughing, Electronic Meditation Music as sold in your local reform shop, next to the Echinacea.

So, gimme the mp3 links ...

although i just talked shit about the physical beauty of this person, i do not doubt her knowledge and passion for this medium.

I can sense her honesty, and that is beautiful in itself.

The result of anyone's work is not as important as the process.

understand?

ehm ... do you realy think so? In education, maby, but I like finished music better than music that comes with a warning "I'm still working on it, so don't shoot me if its not good, yet, it will be, some day ..."

wich doesn't mean a finished piece can't be an illustration of progress, thats something else.

I guarantee she is NOT ....
She married one of the top Modular designers a few years ago at a NAMM wedding ceremony (they are since deivorced but very good friends).
She also knows Bob Moog quite well I might add .
