Oh man that's me right on the dot. I'll spend hours fucking with the filter frequency and envelopes within an Operator instrument or fine tune the attack/decay/sustain/release and filter on each of my samples in the Drum Rack into oblivion and then I'll wonder why 4 hours just went by and I didn't really write much.[email protected] wrote: Theres a good chance you will then learn a little bit more about melodies, before you go back to nit-picky effects stuff. I guess the practice is good too though. It results in me slowly building a library of personal Instrument Rack presets. I should really be writing melodies though and be thinking more deeply about song structure.
