Hey AdamJay,
I think I remmember already reading a post from someone trying to start a NYC live users group, a month or so back but herding cats in New York is especially hard when you spend all your free time forming strategies to pay your rent. I wonder if anyone in Pittsburgh plays with Live...?
Hey man, if you felt like sharing whatever trick your away team put together for the rest of us who would have loved to make it, I am sure we would all appreciate it.

AdamJay and Everyone in Indy...
Congratulations on your meet up - getting 14 musicians together to do anything without someone wanting to play someone elses drums is something to be proud of
Is there any chance you guys could make your July get together somewhere around the week of Summer NAMM?
I'd even be down to chip in on reserving a spot if you can't do it in your normal place.
Anyone else planning to go to NAMM this summer?
and...
If anyone's interested I'd be into working out a get together here (CA) for NAMM 2006

rtopia, Summer NAMM is July 22 - 24, which doesn't really line up with our "First tuesday of the month" schedule for the User Group.
But i think that if there is enough interest here, and say at least 25 people RSVP saying they'd like to be there and plan to be here that weekend, we could do a special occasion Live User Group meeting in Indy around that date. i think i could have it arranged and even find a larger place to do it. We could go with a date that fits better with people's travel schedules, etc.
So, why don't you start a new thread to see who is planning on coming to Indy during Summer NAMM, and we can arrange a meeting from there, k?

Adam, that joint was the ISH!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for all the work you put in to not only make it happen, but also to keep the tutorials interesting and organized (those keynote transitions kept up guessing!).
My excitement for and appreciation of Live, the Abletonians, and this community was elevated even more as a result of tonight's gathering! That utility tip AND montrealbreak's eq 4 tip (that dude is a TRUE geek!) were both incredible!!
Can't wait til next month dog!!

You could film the next one and stream it so people who don't live in the USA can experience some of the action. Those tutorials sound cool

Telling you before Adam wakes up, would be a violation of my NDA

Great meeting indeed... I can't wait for the next one.
And we should definitely stream it via iSight. I don't think the abbey would mind us dominating their bandwidth for a few hours... hehe.

If anyone would like to collaborate on a Live project file, we could share our results at the next meeting. I'd be happy to host the samples for download.

Just record the damn thing and throw it online to be viewed at any time.
Imagine videos popping up from all corners of the world.
Another thing i would enjoy to see is video tutorials of "pro" audio tricks done in Live.
I've been thinking of recording video and sound of the process of making patches for the operator. But that would probably be boring.
