JuanSOLO wrote:If you think about it you could build a hack of pitch, length, and velocity midi effects, put them in a drumRack and make a crude sequencer.
Or you build it inside a MIDI Effect Rack so it can be used with other instruments.

I've created a max patch enabling note style parameter locks for push with polyphony (no drum racks needed). No step automation yet though. I need to raise $3000 before I can tackle it, but it can be done. I have a great idea to make it seamless with the way push works.

Hey guys,
Sorry to resurrect a dead topic, but I thought you might be interested to know that I've released a free maxforlive device that adds APC40 control to the Mono Sequencer. You can get it over on maxforlive.com:

I also made a quick video explaining how it works if you haven't got your hardware handy:

It sounds like JuanSolo may have had a similar patch going last year, but was asked not to release it (???). I haven't heard anything about updates to the Mono Sequencer, so maybe they had a project underway that was never finished. From what I can tell the sequencing modes in Push are pretty good (though I don't have one), so I've no plans to port it there, but I will try to add APC20 and APC40 MkII support next.
Enjoy!
