Cool, thanks for the feedback. I'm satisfied with the scripts and looking forward to push as well, I'll probably snag the bundle when it comes out.
I'd almost rather always play on a keyboard but I'm sure pushes features will help songwriting workflow which is all I want to do, write and record my
own music with touching the mouse as little as possible due to extreme RSI. Keyboard playing can really increase my pain after a while so I'm very curious
how comfortable it would be playing in notes on the push, it could be quite ergonomic, I hadn't considered the full implications of that. Thanks for the info

Re: Shoutout to STRAY (NativeKontrol)!
I've just started experimenting with the "Chord" device, and an interesting application to both Push (and or a secondary keyboard perhaps with a split) would be to control the type of chord (major, minor, 7th, maj7th, etc) with the left hand, with a number key mappped to a particular inversion, which would either/or play the chord with a second keyboard that would handle the melody. Much like an arranger.
In addition, Push could map the matrix to the chord if the left hand were pressed down, or to a relative scale if the left hand were lifted (like the right hand in an arranger.)
I haven't thought this through, of course, but I can see how it might be done; I've already mapped Flamenco chords (turns out they are almost trivial, since most are just power chords except for the tonic....) Any more complex, and you're talking jazz, but not Flamenco (the difference between a Flamenco guitarist and a Jazz guitarists is that a Flamenco only knows two chords, but really, really likes them a LOT! The Jazz guitarists knows thousands of chords and loves them all equally....
(Come to think of it, it might be easier to do the chording on Push and melody on the keyboard, though)
I also notice that the new Novation Launchkey has midi buttons, so you can change midi channels (using an external instrument in live). Maybe good for swapping inversions...??
