What network problems exactly? Heard adhoc problems with iOS6, but nothing specifically on ML...

The automatic channel network has vanished and sometimes, it just doesn't work for a while : happened to me with sharing for example. Also, the first time I tried to use Lemur on ipad using adhoc connection, I've spent a whole day without getting connection with my standard settings. It drive me nuts. Called a friend who is a network specialist and all the settings were good. Had tried to restart computer and ipad without success. The day after, it worked right away. And randomly, wifi is deactivated after turning the mbp to sleep, which never happened with 10.5.8 or 10.6.8. An apple tech support told me they are aware of this and that it should be corrected in 10.8.3...

Just something to watch out for: moving from SL to ML killed support for my Canon scanner. Combination of Canon not providing anything more modern than PowerPC drivers and Apple no longer supporting PowerPC stuff...
Cost $40 to buy a 3rd party scanning program, VueScan, so that I don't have to junk the scanner itself. Turns out VueScan is way better than the Canon utilities ever were, but still...

so i bought an iMac... that had some cat installed (i forget which it was too new/foreign to me at the time)... i upgraded to Lion because when i got everything hooked up the computer said "hey update available yo!"... the only issue i have had with the iMac is a terrible tendency to drop my WiFi connection. much fiddling caused it to straighten out for a time, but the last few days it's been... sticking... i would say dropping but it's more like sticking... anyway, have any of you had any similar issues with Lion regarding WiFi and/or do you think it is worth paying for the upgrade from Lion to Mountain Lion on an iMac?
@ JuanSOLO you have me sufficiently confused so i'm glaring at you.

i upgraded to Mountain Lion and haven't had a single issue since.
but none of you are using wifi so that probably doesn't matter.
posted for future generations.

A couple times a month ML will refuse to see my wifi network, usually after a reboot. I just turn wifi off and back on again really quick and it works fine then. It's one of the more common issues I hear about for ML.

Has the Core Audio bug been fixed as of yet? I need to use CA at times, have a mid 2012 MBP running Lion and am really afraid of moving to ML.

I just upgraded to the latest 10.8.3 beta, and Live 9 trial had the weirdest occasional input bug: I had to double-click instead of single-click *everywhere*. Even the preferences require it to change tabs. It doesn't seem like a simple option I accidentally hit, since it's happening in prefs but not outside Live. I'm not even sure whether I should report this to Apple or Ableton! When it happens it stays until the program quits, but it doesn't happen consistently.
So the beta OS is definitely acting weird. Wait for release.

Another update after the update to ML...
A couple of times my MacBook Pro has crashed (immediate black screen, followed by restart) when switching on my MOTU Ultralite. Never happened before ML. Then noticed that MOTU have an updated audio driver that came out in the last 6 months and supports ML specifically... have updated the driver and let's see if it still crashes...

Report it please. All info helps. Thanks!

Update: new driver fixed it.

Mountain Lion is a really restrictive OS compared to Snow Leopard.
"It just works" has become "it's no longer compatible"
