The only part of his statement that's a bit suspect is "I told the bitch to call the police and then I went to investigate."

lol.

you're a complete and total knob. the idea that a scabby meth head with a history of sharing her rotten overused crab catcher is any less of a person should become the focal point of the thread for the next 3 or 4 pages (at least). we should argue back and forth attacking and defending someone's birth right to be a meth head pack rat with a fully alphabetized DVD collection (which will be "pawned" next week) while painting you out to be an uncivil, right wing extremest tweakophobe for making such a cold and callous statement about this misunderstood segment of society and the hardships associated with the social stigmas ascribed to these unfortunate souls.

This past Sunday morn on a 7-11 milk run I was given the opportunity to do God’s work in the form of a meth head attempting to buy coffee and rolling papers with pocket change. She wasn’t quite grasping the concept that her gathered coin stash didn’t add up to the required total for the purchase and there was no way she could do without both items. God bless her, she thought arguing about it and pointing out her homeless status should more than make up for the shortage in cash value. After I saw she wasn’t making any headway with the heartless clerk while my milk approached room temperature I stepped in and said “How much to get her out the door?”. I then subsidized her directly out of my wallet, no government middleman needed.

You ever given that kind of good samaritan opportunity with an intelligent attractive woman? Fuck no. Except at bars. And let’s all be honest, she really doesn’t need that drink the way the meth head needed that coffee and rolling papers.

I see what you did there!

You feigned a strawdoggian argument in which overly sensitive peeseers would attack the notion that a scabrous meth addict's death is not an equally lamentable loss to society as is that of an altruistic amputee humper. This then conveniently signals a green light for some dufus to regale us with anectdotal evidence of why a case can be made against this argument that was never made and counter with proof that meth addicts are not worthy of our pity.

Caoool.

Geez, can you imagine putting the same value on every life?

I don't think that's something we actually want. Nope

YOU and WE can not put a value on life; that is the responsibility of the VLA.

Oh trust me, I do not want the responsibility or have the talent for such decisions. Certainly tho, a meth whore values their own life less than a Harvard Law grad. One future has positive potential and a good chance of helping others. I think where the intrinsic value of life comes in is where we all have the ability to change the situation no matter how bad. A meth whore can become a harvard law grad. They just won't be hot at that point. That's the snag.

well, to each his/her own. it's when it starts spilling over into the lives of people you come in contact with that the fur gets rubbed the wrong way.

the trouble with attempting to put a value on every life is the variables. someone can be a successful well paid and highly regarded yet despicable soul/reused douche bag blood sucker. it's all in the way the ingredients are mixed.
