and truthfully i would have stuck a sticker or two on something too... but i don't want to use them to hold the gauze on my bleeding ass.
it took me months to convince myself that i can afford this upgrade. i like the new features and wanted to support them after the Live 8 bug fest, but $308.90 just doesn't have a good ring to it.

I just bought the box.

No distracting extras such as the manual, the packs or the application. Just the box. For me it's one of the most innovative and well designed boxes in the history of DAW boxes, and I've tried lots of boxes let me tell you.
I think anyone who doesn't realise the work that goes into a box like this is just not pro. First thing I do will be just hold my box up to my ear and just ... listen.
Box. Boxiness. silent box innard.

Then, of course, I will begin complaining. I'm not fucking stupid. I have exacting standards.

the difference is that someone else delivered the package, installed it for me, then he shook my hand and thanked me for the business. paper receipt was gratuitous.

the new stickers are probably some piss poor hot dog and blue color scheme anyway.

nah... no foolin... i don't remember paying that much... that kind of number would have kept me from going that route in the past.

nope, just sitting back watching the bonobos. my music time has been all about the new guitar amp. I'm just playing, no recording, using Live 8 to play along with and learn songs. I barely even tried the beta, I haven't had the time to put an effort into it. let's see if I get screwed with bugs this time around.

I'magonna wait for a sale and get Push, eventually. I absolutely LOVE those sessions where the only time I use the mouse or keyboard is to turn off the screensaver. for now I'd rather buy a Looping guitar pedal. Live upgrades are usually pretty relatively light on the wallet, not this time around.
