You can't define really consciousness without resorting to synonyms though can you?

the whole it exists in no tangible or physical space that we are currently able to capture, calculate, measure or even point to bit does create quite a breeding ground for synonyms and metaphors... and to some extent homily.

If I lack the consciousness to recognize any consciousness in any 'thingBeing', am I right to say it has none?
